Removing a Content Block

If a section is no longer needed on a page, you can remove its content block.

How to Remove a Block

1. Open the page in the Visual Editor.

2. In the sidebar, find the Content Blocks list.

3. Locate the block you want to remove.

4. Click the three-dot menu (or trash icon) next to the block.

   

5. Select Remove or Delete.

6. The block is removed from the page and the preview updates.

7. Click Save to confirm the removal.

Caution

Removing a block cannot be undone after saving. Make sure you really want to remove it before clicking Save. If you save by accident, contact your administrator to restore the previous version.

Tip

If you’re not sure whether to remove a block, consider leaving it in place and simply clearing its content instead. That way you can fill it back in later without having to recreate it.
