Updating Buttons & Links

Buttons and links appear in hero banners, resource banners, and navigation elements. Here’s how to update them.

Call-to-Action (CTA) Buttons

CTA buttons are found in Hero Banners and Resource Banners. They have three fields:

Field	What It Does	Example
Button text	The button label	”Get a Quote”
Button link	Where the button goes	”/contact-us/“
Button icon	Optional icon	Arrow icon

Editing a CTA Button

1. Click on the section containing the button (hero banner or resources banner).

2. In the sidebar, find the Button text, Button link, and Button icon fields.

   

3. Update the Button text to change the button label.

4. Update the Button link to change where it goes.

5. Click Save.

Tip

Resource banner button text can also be edited inline — just click on the button text in the preview.

Link Formats

When entering links, use these formats:

Link Type	Format	Example
Internal page	Start with /	/services/air-freight/
External site	Full URL	https://example.com
Email	mailto: prefix	mailto:info@lxglobal.com
Phone	tel: prefix	tel:+2341234567

Caution

Always use a trailing slash for internal links (e.g., /services/ not /services). This ensures the link works correctly.

Links in Content

When editing rich text content (in Text Blocks or Media Blocks), you can add links using the formatting toolbar:

1. Select the text you want to link.

2. Click the link icon in the formatting toolbar.

3. Enter the URL.

4. Click confirm.
