Your First Edit

Let’s make your first edit! We’ll update a heading on an existing page so you can see how the Visual Editor works.

Walkthrough: Change a Page Heading

1. Log in to CloudCannon and open the Dashboard.

2. Click Pages in the left sidebar.

3. Navigate to Services and click on any service page (e.g., “Air Freight”).

4. The page opens in the Visual Editor. You’ll see the live preview of the page.

5. Hover over the main heading in the text area below the hero banner. You should see it highlighted, indicating it’s editable.

   

6. Click the heading to start editing. Type your change.

   

7. Click the Save button in the top toolbar (or press Ctrl+S / Cmd+S).

8. Your change is saved! The preview updates to show your edit.

Tip

Don’t worry about making mistakes — CloudCannon saves a history of changes, so you can always go back to a previous version.
