Opening the Visual Editor
Where you'll make all your content changes
The Visual Editor is your primary workspace for editing the LXGlobal website. It shows a live preview of the page you're working on, with an editing sidebar on the left where you can modify content fields. Every change you make appears instantly in the preview.
When you open the Visual Editor, you'll see three key areas:
- 1 The live preview — a full rendering of your page, exactly as visitors will see it. Click directly on text and images here to edit them.
- 2 The editing sidebar — a panel on the left with all editable fields for the current page, organized by content block.
- 3 The toolbar — the bar at the top with the Save button, page status, and navigation controls.
How to Open the Visual Editor
- 1 From the Dashboard, click Pages in the left-hand navigation to see a list of all pages on the LXGlobal site.
- 2 Find the page you want to edit. You can scroll through the list or use the search field at the top to filter by page name.
- 3 Click the page name — for example,
HomeorAbout Us. The page will open in the Visual Editor automatically. - 4 Wait a moment for the live preview to load. Once you can see the page content, you're ready to start editing.
If you've just logged in, you'll land on the Dashboard. The Pages list is always one click away — look for Pages in the left sidebar of the Dashboard.
Two Ways to Edit
Once a page is open in the Visual Editor, there are two ways to make changes. Some content supports both methods, while other content can only be edited through the sidebar.
Inline Editing
Click directly on text or images in the live preview to edit them in place. A subtle highlight will appear when you hover over an editable area. This is the fastest way to update content.
- Headings and body text in Text Blocks and Media Blocks
- Images in Media Blocks (click to open the image picker)
- Hero banner text on the homepage carousel
- Button labels in Resource Banners
Sidebar Editing
Use the editing sidebar on the left to access every field on the page. This is the only way to edit structured content like card lists, link URLs, SEO fields, and toggle options.
- All content block fields, organized in expandable sections
- Link URLs and button destinations
- Card arrays (service cards, leadership profiles, sectors)
- Page-level settings like SEO title and meta description
